Major Emergency Structure Fire Injures Firefighter

SOUTHEAST LOS ANGELES – Over 100 Los Angeles Firefighters battled a Major Emergency Structure Fire in a furniture warehouse, doing business as C&L Furniture. One firefighter sustained minor burns from the intense heat. On January 30th, 2012, just after 8 AM, firefighters arrived in less than three minutes to 6245 South Manhattan Place.

Fire destroys house southeast of Exeter in Tooleville

Tulare County firefighters are on the scene of a house fire that destroyed a single family dwelling in Tooleville, just southeast of Exeter. The fire was reported at about 3:40 p.m. The house is on the 2400 block of Alfred Avenue, just east of Spruce Road between Exeter and Lindsay.

Sub shop donates to fire department

Firehouse Subs Public Safety Foundation is awarding much needed equipment to the Blue Ash Fire Department. Otherwise unavailable due to budget constraints, the department benefits with a live fire extinguisher training system, worth $10,247.
