SBI: No Smoke Detectors in Fatal House Fire
JACKSONVILLE – State fire investigators said Friday they did not find smoke detectors in a Southwest area house in which three children died in a fire last week. Property owners said the devices were in place when the Pittman family moved into1224 Wilmington Highway six years ago.
