Firefighters Contain 30-Acre American Canyon Brush Fire

AMERICAN CANYON, Calif. — Firefighters are cleaning up a 30-acre blaze that started in thick brush and grass Wednesday afternoon in American Canyon, fire officials said. More than 100 firefighters responded to a 3:06 p.m. report that brush was burning behind a neighborhood near Via Montalcino and Palazzo Way. The fire was considered “very active”
