Five firefighters were injured in a second alarm fire in the Fort Greene section of Brooklyn. The heavy flames shot from the building located at 192 Concord Street just before 4:45 a.m. When firefighters arrived they were met with intense flames shooting out of all of the windows. Officials say within 20-minutes five firefighters suffered various injuries. They were taken to Bellevue Medical Center. Eyewitness News is told two firefighters fell and were badly hurt. They reportedly fell when a banister gave way on them. Officials say they are in serious but stable condition.
