Engine 5480 arrived from a Louisiana factory Friday, ready to begin serving the Little Lake Fire District community. The engine replaces Engine 5484, a 1977 engine with a blown transmission. The retired engine may have a new life in Branscomb, after being donated to the Laytonville Fire Department.
