In Mount Olive, new Jersey a Flanders ambulance caught fire inside a local firehouse and two firefighters were injured as they put the blaze out. this Ford Ambulance has been the subject of controversy. Firefighters lobbied for their to be a lemon law applied specifically due to this brand of ambulance. It has been a constant source of problems. The lemon law was signed by the New Jersey Governor. Today two firefighters suffered smoke inhalation as the ambulance burned. Arson investigators believe the fire started in the ABS area of the engine compartment.
